Hike, Bike, and Drive at the 6th annual fundraiser for our scholarship fund!

Join us in September for the Sixth Annual BEDBUG Hat Trick

Pine Valley Ranch Park, Sunday September 12th 2010

Come and join us for some fun hiking, biking, and driving up and around Pine Valley Ranch Park, just northwest of Buffalo Creek, Colorado on Sunday, September 12th! Pine Valley boasts a large network of hiking and biking trails, and will be the endpoint of a scenic driving tour up and around the front range. To get the latest information as it happens, subscribe to the Fund's mailing list. We will send you information about the start of the driving tour, recommended biing routes in the park, and much more throughout the summer as we prepare for what is sure to be another fun and successful event!

Hat Trick Update: Fishing clinic for families added. Kids under 15 fish for free!

One more great event added: Thanks to ELK (Environmental Learning for Kids) we will have a fishing clinic available for our families on Sept 12.    Also: the lake will be stocked!  Kids 15 and younger will not need a license, but adults should get a day license from the Division of Wildlife  (available on line), which costs only $9.

Even better: kids under 15 will get a free fishing pole. Yep!

The Bedbug Hat Trick is an annual event benefitting the David L. Bucknam Memorial Scholarship Fund. Named after the Bucknam family's beloved Volkswagen camper bus, the Hat Trick is a three-in-one event encompassing hiking, biking, and driving events. All events take place in one area, culminating in a casual, but very tasty, feast.
